Business Services

Accountable for business management world wide, from Sales until handover to Customer Services. Make sure projects are executed according to the contractual terms. Coordinates activities with all support groups (engineering, planning, supply chain, production, assembly, commissioning,...).

Customer Services

Provides after sales customer technical and commercial support for the entire life of the package. Main activities are to sell and perform extended guarantee service agreements, maintenance programs, overhauls, parts, refurbished packages and retrofits and modifications in customer packages. Organised in 10 different districts all over the world, in order to provide complete coverage of the fleet.

Engineering Services

Responsible for the development of Turbomach Power Generation core-products, the engineering / production / commissioning for the acquired orders of gas turbine packages and engineering of power plants. Ensures that for each project the necessary engineering and production resources are available in order to fulfill the requirements, meet the project deadlines and work in accordance with the quality standards established by the company. Defines main technical directives and specifications to achieve a high quality standard in line with applicable codes and regulations, customer satisfaction, cost control and short delivery time.

Finance & Administration

Responsible for producing accurate financial statements for the Turbomach Group that are compliant with both local statutory regulations and US GAAP. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations. Partner with sales and operations to guide the business by providing: business counsel, analysis of financial data and relevant management reporting. Produces accurate and timely payrolls for the company employees. Provides timely commercial management of contract and contractual risk evaluation. Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates Treasury functions including but not limited to receivables management, insurance negotiation, project finance, bank relations and financial reporting and business analysis to support the management team.

Human Resources

Ensures the availability and development of people, coordinating and guiding their entire life cycle in the company from selection & hire to training & development, as well as daily management of issues such as performance evaluation, compensation, retention and retirement. Manages the processes and procedures of internal communication, diffusing the company’s values, as well as employee relations and engagement, performance and compensation policies. Provides general support of process improvements and change management at the different levels of the organization.

Information Technology

Sustains the company by providing support, identifying the best IT solutions, designing, carrying out and supervising their implementation. Performs consulting, problem solving and training of the company users. IT systems support includes: multiple operating systems, telecommunication systems, data base systems, application systems, timesharing systems and other large and small scale systems. Frequent inter- and intra-organizational contacts with multi-department users and suppliers.

Legal Services

Performs as a primary point of legal assistance and counselling for a wide range of commercial issues with suppliers and customers. Provides guidance and recommendations to Purchasing regarding commercial terms and conditions and the appropriate transfer of risk to major equipment vendors. Provides legal counsel, contract drafting assistance, and risk mitigation advice for all commercial sales transactions through a staff of professional attorneys and contract specialists. Serves as liaison between functional areas by providing daily counseling needs requiring accurate interpretation of the law as it applies to various situations.

Quality, Health, Safety & Environment

Responsible for defining strategies and their implementation for Turbomach worldwide, regarding quality of products, components, process or HSE topic, including fact analyses, propose corrective action & publish related statistics. Responsible for managing repair or substitution actions through Supply Chain for non-conform purchased components. Accountable for planning and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, reduce use of hazardous materials, and properly handle equipment and substances.

Sales & Marketing

Responsible for managing the sales process for Turbomach Power Generation products worldwide. Manages sales activities and has accountability to achieve forecasted order intake in support of company business plan. Development of specific sales strategies and sales policies and to explore alternative products, services and channels of distribution. Analysis, identification and interpretation of market needs. Promotion of brand and image through definition of appropriate marketing mix, marketing communication and event planning.

Supply Chain

Ensures proactive support through the deployment of a systems management concept that optimizes the factors of material costs, quality, availability, and service for production and aftermarket demand. This is accomplished by guaranteeing an optimal logistics flow through integrating sourcing, purchasing, planning, supplier quality assurance, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation management. The result is aligned processes to ensure strategic support and optimal acquisition of primary and secondary goods and services, selecting and building a strong supply base, managing supplier performance and relations while monitoring and responding to market conditions. The team leads the commercial agreement process with the supplier from purchase orders through long-term agreements, and manages Supplier Quality ensuring the appropriate Assurance Requirements are in place and respected. Plans and controls inventory, receives and distributes product through warehouse management and ensures the right parts are in the right place at the right time.
